Ante Bet Slots
An ante bet raises the cost of each spin for better odds at a feature. Alien Fruits 3, Wincent Wolf and Temple of Power each use one, and Book of Arabia guarantees a special symbol.
An ante bet raises the cost of every spin in return for better odds at a feature. It’s a switch you turn on before the spin, and it stays on until you turn it off. You pay for the boost whether or not it lands.
Examples on this site
Alien Fruits 3 calls it Chance x2. It slightly raises the bet and doubles the chance of Cosmo Frenzy. Wincent Wolf uses the same name for its free spins. Temple of Power has Bonus Boost, which makes the Bonus or Super Bonus more than 300% likelier. In Book of Arabia the ante guarantees a special symbol on every base spin.
Ante versus buy
The ante doesn’t skip the wait. It shortens it. A buy option starts the bonus outright for a fixed multiple of the bet. Check the price of each in your casino, because the rules text of these games prints the surcharge differently.
