Don’t Die is an immortality-retreat slot from Wicked Games where one expanding wild keeps the round alive (96.16%, 3.5 out of 5 volatility, 6×4, 40 lines, 10,000x). If you want a feature that refuses to end, this is the pitch. You can try the demo before the launch. Wicked Games lists October 15, 2026 as the release date, so it’s announced and not yet released as of this page.

Pitch it in one line

It’s a game that lasts as long as a wild is on the reels. The host character is the wild. In the base game you’ll see it expand from one cell to four cells tall. In the free spins the wild always fills the full reel. It then moves one reel per spin until it leaves the grid. All wins pay on 40 paylines across six reels and four rows.

Check the pitch against the rules

The studio’s page says rounds continue while any wild remains active. The counter resets each time new wilds land, so you can run far past the spins you started with. There’s no retrigger on the plain free spins counter. You get eight initial spins, and each landing wild fills a meter.

Wilds grow taller as the meter fills. They freeze at full reel height and can carry multipliers up to 100x. Multipliers on the same winning line add together. Super Free Spins can trigger at random, and then the wilds clone themselves and merge the multiplier values of the clones. A feature called Heroic Dose also shows up during the free spins in the demo.

The first slide

The intro screen says it plainly. Fill the bags and the wilds grow to fill the reel, then freeze. The bags are the three red bags beside the grid, and they work as the meter. The cast in the paytable is drawn as caricatures.

Read the paytable

The paytable I opened was set to a 1.00 bet. The top character pays 15x for six of a kind, 5x for five, 2x for four and 1x for three. The bald orange-jacket character pays 10x for six and 3.75x for five. Those are small numbers for a game that quotes 10,000x, so the wild multipliers are the real engine.

The grid is 24 cells, against 36 in Diner Dogs (96.1%, 6×6, 20,000x), and the line count is 40. The studio’s volatility scale is lower here too, 3.5 out of 5 against 5 out of 5 there.

Where it’s unproven

The page doesn’t list odds for the meter, the Super Free Spins or the length of a round. You can’t judge them from the page. The 10,000x top win is the same as Book of Arabia’s. The game is rated three and a half out of five, a notch under the other three Wicked Games titles here. Because the game isn’t out yet, you should expect the numbers to settle after launch. Launch-week promos will push it hard.

The price of speed

The demo’s buy menu is the clearest part of the page. Six bonuses run from 85x to 1,700x the bet, and four boosters cost 2x, 2x, 4.5x and 2x. Deep Freeze sits at 750x. It starts the free spins with six scatters at the final stage, with full-reel frozen wilds already in place. The buy option is the upsell, and an ante bet is on offer as well.

A number I haven’t confirmed

Wicked Games’ page is the source for the 96.16% and the 0.20 to 400 bets. I haven’t confirmed that number inside the game, so check it in the game’s own info page before you rely on it.

Who it’s built for

If you liked an expanding wild that carries the whole bonus, this is the one. If you’d rather have a short, predictable round, skip it. The whole design is a round with no fixed length. I’d keep it on a lower shelf until launch week is over. It’s Worth a try again, but a notch lower, at six out of 10.

Another one to open

For a Wicked Games title with a plainer bonus, try Book of Arabia (96.14%, 5×3, 10,000x). It has one expanding symbol and a clear rulebook.
