Learn the wheel first

Every bonus runs through the Primal Wheel. Rage symbols can land on any reel in the base game. Three of them start the wheel. If one or two land, the ape collects them for a chance at it. The wheel pays MINI, MINOR, MAJOR, MEGA or GRAND at once (10x, 30x, 75x, 250x and 1,000x the total bet). It can also send you into Kong Quest or King Spin. The info page says the wheel’s presentation doesn’t reflect real probabilities, so a wedge’s size tells you nothing.

Read the vaults and the wild

Both live on reel 2. The Vault Bonus lets the ape smash the reels open. Each vault pays 1x to 9x the bet or one of the five named prizes. The wild also sits on reel 2 and replaces everything except vaults and rage symbols. It can carry x2, x3, x5, x10, x25, x50 or x100, and only wins that include a multiplier wild get multiplied. The grid has no paylines. Three adjacent symbols pay left to right, which gives 27 ways.

The Grand vault, 1,000x, is two-fifths of the 2,500x top win the info page quotes for normal bets. Triple Beasts of Fortune, the other Play’n GO game here, tops out at 30,000x. Its top win is twelve times as much (96.20%, 5×4, 1,024 ways).

What the free spins change

Both free spins rounds start from the wheel only, with eight spins each. Kong Quest stretches the reels on every spin to a random size between 3×3 and 3×8, from 27 ways up to 512. Vaults in that round can hold an extra spin. The round is capped at 30 spins.

King Spin unlocks every vault the moment it lands. The ape can smash the reels several times to upgrade a vault up to GRAND. Vaults can also hold double prizes, from MINI2X at 20x up to MEGA2X at 500x. The round stays at eight spins.

From the top it runs GRAND at 1,000x, MEGA2X at 500x, MEGA at 250x, MAJOR2X at 150x, MAJOR at 75x, MINOR2X at 60x, MINOR at 30x, MINI2X at 20x and MINI at 10x. Plain vaults from 9x down to 1x sit below those. Because the ape can smash more than once, a vault that lands low can finish higher. The info page doesn’t print how often that happens.

Set it beside its neighbors

Next to Triple Beasts of Fortune, it’s the smaller grid and the lower top win, and its bonus can’t be stacked. Next to Chicken Fire it has the same three-reel footprint. Both games top their prize ladders at 1,000x. The difference is the route. Chicken Fire shows you its coins on the reels, and Primal Rampage hides the prize behind a wheel you can’t read.

Where it’s thin

I couldn’t find a buy option. The wheel is the only way into either free spins round, which makes the rage symbols your whole bonus plan. The ape’s collection is a chance, not a meter. The info page prints no odds for the wheel, Kong Quest or King Spin.

Check the version

The 96.20% and the medium rating come from vegasslotsonline.com’s page in October 2026. The demo’s info page doesn’t print either. Play’n GO games usually come in more than one RTP version, so you’ll want the number for the version your casino runs before you compare it with anything here.
