Alien Fruits 3 is BGaming‘s cluster slot on an 8×8 grid (97.00%, medium-high volatility, 8×8, 10,000x). The 3 counts the games, and BGaming’s page says the first Alien Fruits came out in 2023. If you liked the cascades in Reactoonz but wanted a bigger grid and a bar that pays out in levels, start here. It came out July 1, 2026.

What the 3 does and doesn’t tell you

The rules text greets players who know the earlier games. I can’t compare the earlier math, because neither earlier game is on this site, so treat the 3 as a name and not a version number. The aliens are the same family. The grid and the bonus are what you’re here to judge.

How a cluster pays

Five or more matching symbols touching horizontally or vertically make a cluster. It’s paid and removed, and new symbols drop in from above. The process repeats until nothing pays, and one spin can hold several rounds. Wilds aren’t on the reels by default. They arrive only through two of the five spin modifiers, Wild Fruit and Fortune Wilds, and then they stand in for any symbol that completes a win.

Read the paytable

The paytable scales steeply with cluster size. The one I opened was set to a 2.00 bet. The pink alien pays 1x for a cluster of five and 1,000x for 25 or more. The purple alien pays 0.5x and 500x, and the green one pays 0.3x and 300x. The gems follow the same curve lower down, from 150x for the red gem to 50x for the green gem at 25 or more. If you can’t picture 25 touching symbols, think of the grid. It has 64 cells, so that cluster covers almost two-fifths of it.

The five colored marks

A colored mark can sit behind a symbol in the main game. If that symbol lands in a winning cluster, the mark fires after all the refills of the spin, so it can’t change the cascade that set it off. Blue is Atomic and clears every symbol that didn’t pay. Purple is Wild Fruit, which turns all copies of one random symbol into wilds. Yellow is Cubes and adds random 2×2 blocks of one symbol. Orange is the Giant symbol, a 3×3, 4×4 or 5×5 block dropped in somewhere. Green is Fortune Wilds, which adds 5 to 15 wilds at random.

That’s five tools, and none of them is a multiplier. The bar handles that job.

Cosmo Frenzy and the bar

Every spin, the symbols in winning clusters are added to a progress bar. The bar resets on the next spin, so the points have to come from the cascades of one spin. When it fills, Cosmo Frenzy starts, and the level depends on the points you’ve collected. Level one needs 114 points and pays a x2 multiplier. Level two needs 116 for x4, level three 120 for x6, level four 125 for x8 and level five 132 for x10. All five modifiers are guaranteed at every level.

The gap between the first and last level is only 18 points, and the multiplier grows fivefold. You’ll want a long cascade chain more than one lucky win, because the bar resets.

Buy it or double it

The buy option starts Cosmo Frenzy on the next spin, and the price follows your bet. Chance x2 raises the bet slightly and doubles the chance of Cosmo Frenzy. That’s the upsell on offer here. The rules text prints the same 97% for the buy and for Chance x2, so your choice is about pace, not about the return, and you shouldn’t expect a different return from either.

Against Reactoonz

Reactoonz (96.51%, 7×7, 4,570x) is the other cluster game on this site. Alien Fruits 3 has the bigger grid, a top win just over twice as high and a return half a point higher. Both games feed a bar from winning symbols. This bar resets every spin, and the Reactoonz page describes a meter charged by winning symbols as play goes on. If you want one big chain to decide the round, this is the better fit.

One caveat on the number

The rules text and BGaming’s page both give 97%. Your casino can still run a different version, so look at the info page it loads before you compare numbers.

Who it suits

If you want a cascade game where the multiplier is earned inside a single spin, open it. If you’d rather have a feature that carries over between spins, skip it. It earns the lobby’s front row from me, since a colored mark sells itself in one short sentence. Eight out of 10 puts it in the Pick tier.

Where to go from here

If the 8×8 grid feels loose, try Diner Dogs (96.1%, 6×6, 20,000x). It’s a smaller cluster game with a bigger top end.
